David M. Foley, Founding Partner

A founding member of Taylor | Foley, David provides counsel to businesses in all stages of their existence including entity formation, restructuring, and succession planning. This advice includes traditional corporations (C and S corporations), professional corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships on corporate and taxation issues ranging from advising companies on SBA 8(a) program qualification and compliance to structuring reorganizations and acquisitions, both taxable and tax-free. David has also implemented estate planning transactions involving sophisticated transfer tax, income tax and asset protection planning for high net worth individuals and families. Additionally, he handles tax controversy representation in audits before the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Revenue as well as commercial and residential property tax appeals.

As with all matters handled by Taylor | Foley, David uses his background in taxation law to advise his clients on the most tax efficient manner in which to structure their business and personal transactions.

David resides in Sullivan’s Island with his wife, son and daughter.
